Management Accountant

Southend-on-Sea

As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join our busy Corporate Accounts team at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including Group analysis and commentary
  • Group budgets, forecast preparation and delivery
  • Quarterly VAT returns for the Group
  • Process improvements and ongoing development of internal systems
  • KPI reporting and analysis
  • Other ad hoc duties, reporting & projects as required

Cleaner and Grounds Maintenance Operative

Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Leigh-on-Sea

Our Accounts Department plays a key role in supporting the efficiency of our organisation. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to spearhead our Purchase Ledger team.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Supervise other Purchase Ledger members of staff ensuring all their work is carried out efficiently and the workload is evenly distributed.
  • Deal with more complex queries and higher-level complaints
  • Regularly liaising with the Department Manager regarding performance
  • Ongoing training and process revision to ensure efficiency
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate scanning and posting invoices onto our Property Management system.
  • Check invoices are sent in the correct format
  • Liaise with Property Management department re contractor queries
  • Ensure all invoices have been signed off by the correct departments within the workflow and is removed from the invoice register.
  • Raise & post cheque payments onto the system and send these, along with a remittance advice out in a timely manner.
  • Deal with contractor queries e.g. chasing payment, sending site declaration forms.
  • Post all Gateway invoices onto our property Management system and settle where appropriate.
  • Filing/admin in respect of the above.
  • Ensure Direct Debits are set up correctly & in a timely manner
  • Check Contractor PLI’s are in date/liaise with relevant departments
  • Any other duties as required

Purchase Ledger Assistant

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of residential blocks and estates, including new builds, purpose-built, and converted properties

As a Marketing Assistant at Gateway, you will learn new skills from an experienced Marketing Team to support and execute the company’s marketing strategy.

Your role will provide you with valuable exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Contributing towards the overall creative process, from brief to delivery
  • Spearheading our events calendar confidently, taking the lead on the preparation and execution of the set up and marketing materials for each event we host/attend
  • Assisting with the company’s internal and external documentation rebrand
  • Assisting with the preparation of the company’s monthly newsletter to 27,000+ subscribers, developing interesting article ideas and supplying copy
  • Creating content for, as well as managing and monitoring the company’s social media accounts
  • Video editing informative company videos for internal and external purposes
  • Continual quality control of the company’s websites
  • Preparing and organising weekly marketing mailers
  • Developing fresh ideas for the company’s marketing strategy
  • Supporting other departments with their marketing enquiries

  • Weekly reporting on the company’s current marketing campaigns
  • Travel to other offices (infrequent, but necessary as required)

Essentials for the Role

Crucially, the successful candidate will be creative, exude confidence and have the ability to learn new skills and software quickly to further their marketing career. Whilst experience in the property sector would be preferable, full training will be provided.
