New Business Executive - Block Management
Southend-on-Sea, Essex
We are an established, vertically integrated property services group delivering block management, lettings, sales, facilities management, insurance brokerage, and professional services. With a strong reputation and ambitious growth plans, we are expanding our block management portfolio and seeking a driven Business Development Executive to support this growth.
The Person
You will be a people person aligned to the Gateway brand. You will be a great communicator with a track record of delivering the best client and customer experience possible. Promoting the brand and creating new opportunities will come as second nature to you.
The Role
This is a high-impact role focused on winning new block management instructions, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, converting leads, and positioning our company as the managing agent of choice for developers, freeholders, and resident management companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new block management instructions (RMCs, RTMs, developers, freeholders)
- Build and maintain new relationships with developers, surveyors, solicitors, and asset managers
- Respond to tenders and manage the full pitch process
- Attend networking events and industry functions to generate leads
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new sites
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business development within property or block management
- Strong network within the residential property sector (highly desirable)
- Commercially driven with a track record of winning new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
- Full UK driving licence (required)

Job location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive with an annual review
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays
